Good to know

Common questions

Plain answers for anyone thinking about starting.

What is the difference between Tai Chi and Qigong?+

Tai Chi is usually learned as a connected sequence of movements. Qigong often uses shorter movements that are repeated. Both can be practiced slowly and adapted for beginners.

Which practice is easier for a complete beginner?+

Many people find Qigong easier to begin because the movements are shorter and repeatable. Tai Chi may suit someone who enjoys learning a longer flowing sequence. There is no wrong place to start.

Do I need experience or good balance?+

No previous experience is expected. A good beginner class starts slowly. Tell Greg about any balance concerns before beginning.

What should I wear?+

Choose comfortable clothing that lets you move freely and flat, secure shoes. No special equipment is needed.

Can I learn only from the videos?+

The videos are introductions and reminders. They do not replace personal instruction or medical advice.
